“Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me, For I am desolate and afflicted. The troubles of my ♥️ have enlarged; Bring me out of my distresses! Look on my affliction and my pain, And forgive all my sins. Consider my enemies, for they are many; And they hate me with cruel hatred. Keep my soul, and deliver me; Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for You.”
Psalms 25:16-21 NKJV
Doing the right thing may feel wrong in the heat of the moment, but it preserves us and protects us from given in to our flesh and selfishness to avenge our selves. Where is the faith and the trust in that? Where is the love? Where is the surrender of trusting God and waiting for him to turn it around? Repaying evil for evil not only steals, kills, and destroys but it robs us out of blessings as well. It also saves us from doing something we will regret later.
